I am thinking o fhooking up my freamcast to my 16x9 widescreen LCd Monitor, via the VGA Box. I have a few questions.

1: Will the monitor severly distort the image?
2: If I play a non VGA compatible game(plasma sword), will it look really bad?
3: If I hook uo the audio out on VGA box to audio line in on my sound card, will I be able to enjoy the sound out of my PC speakers, while they are attached to my computer abd it is still on

1. Not sure. I imagine with a 4:3 resolution, your monitor will pillarbox the image.
2. If a game does not support VGA, it simply won't display at all. There are some "tricks" to try and make it work like flipping the VGA box to TV mode, turning on the Dreamcast and flipping the VGA box back to VGA mode. Still, some games will refuse to work.
3. Yes.
