I was wondering if anyone could recommend an affordable vga switch box with as little video quality degradation as possible.

My Xbox 360 and Xrgb-3 share the same input on my monitor and honestly I'm just tired of them switching back and forth.

360 runs in 1280 x 720 or 1280 x 1024
xrgb runs in 1600 x 1200 or 1280 x 1024

I am looking for the same info. I know you can't go wrong with the Extron line but not so affordable. I would love to have something with at least 2 inputs and dual monitor outputs would be even better.

I've been using the Trulink 2-Port UXGA Monitor Switcher/Extender which I got at yourcablehookup.com. Works great for switching between my XBOX 360 and PC. The switch also comes with a remote for the lazy. You might need to pick up gender changers for the vga cables if you don't have them. I know the official Microsoft vga cable had one in their box.

My tv is a Samsung HRT-6168w which accepts a 1080p vga signal. I've discovered that if I don't use UXGA rated cables and switch connected from my pc to the tv, I could not get 1080p resolution to work from my pc. Every resolution below it would work. The UXGA cable and switch are rated for 1080p.

Hope this helps!
