hi i play wii on lcd 46 bravia 480i and i notice vertical lines appear and dissapear not ever when i play wind waker and twilight princess only in wii and gamecube games... ps3 buray is ok and sorry for my english heheh what is the solution?? component 480p ???

If you are playing using backwards compatability on the Wii, then yeah definitely get it hooked up via component cable as a first effort. I found this to be a huge improvement over composite, and the horizontal line issues you are referring to may very well be related to your tv's handling of the deinterlacing.

edit: oops, your issue is with vertical lines. nvm my post... well aside from the fact that component cables are a good investment even if it doesn't resolve your line issue.

Are you by chance talking about the vertical banding that is noticeable in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, or are they actually lines?

If there are alternating light and dark vertical bands across the screen (Noticeable especially when sailing in the Wind Waker), that was some technical trick Nintendo pulled to benefit the graphics in some way (I forget the details).

It's especially noticeable when played in progressive scan, so I doubt it's what you are experiencing.

hey i search on the internet and i found some picture for the lines that i told you THEY SAY THAT IS NORMAL IS TRUE?



SEE THE HAT ON LINK THAT VERTICAL LINES but sometimeS the lines are more noticeable
