I rented this a couple days ago, and I think maybe the novelty has worn off, of swinging the Wii remote to play golf. I mean it's great with MotionPlus, and the new game has Balance Board support to measure shifts in weight (an idea that I think I've seen suggested in these forums before) but for some reason I just can't get excited about it anymore.

Anyone else feel the same way?

You may want to consider adding a Chicken Stick to your experience. It's really is pretty cool. Not EXACTLY like swinging a real golf club, but much, much closer.

About $40. Also available from "The Golf Warehouse".

I actually built a similar device using a modified (read: butchered) Nyko Perfect Shot and a real golf shaft before I found this thing.

Haven't tried any of the "Advanced" modes in TW12, nor the balance board, but Augusta is a nice addition.....especially during the week the tourney was on TV.

I can see myself really getting into it come next fall/winter when I've got 2 feet of snow up here. The Augusta addition is pretty awesome.
