Anybody plan on picking this up? It's been way under the radar (since nobody expects the Wii to have anymore worthwhile games except Skyward Sword) but it's getting some good buzz. Destructoid gave it a 10/10, which I'm sure is hyperbolic, but in general I'm hearing it's at least worthy of keeping company with DKCR and NSMBW. I didn't even know it was four-player co-op!

I honestly admire Nintendo's dedication to platformers, they're essentially keeping the genre alive, but I'm not sure I'll get this one after Epic Yarn. I know it's entirely different, but having never been a die hard Kirby fan I just can't reason enough to buy this one. Especially since I'm certain I'll be dropping my gaming dollars on a Zelda gold wiimote bundle...

God I hope it's easier that New super mario and Donkey Kong.

If you did like epic yarn I highly recommend wario land shake it. It's really similar.

Eh, it's Kirby. 'course it'll be easier. Unlike Epic Yarn you can actually die this time, though they give you a plethora of extra lives.

Another way Epic Yarn and Wario Land Shake It were similar: I didn't care much for either.

I realize this is a bit of a necropost, but since there wasn't any reports on it, I thought it warranted. Ahem...

If you like Kirby's Adventure and Kirby Super Star on NES and SNES, get this game. Seriously. It feels like a true successor to Kirby Super Star. A buddy of mine and I who played a ton of that game back in the day let loose a number of "dude"s and "yes"s as we discovered favorite copy abilities that make a return, as well as some great new ones, as well as refreshingly challenging levels in the late game. The boss fight is about as epic as Super Star to boot.

So for the tl;dr-- If you like Adventure and Super Star, buy it now.

Thanks for the review. I do need to pick this up at some point. Hm, with this, Xenoblade Chronicles, and now eventually Last Story to pick up, it's like the Wii's experiencing a mini-renaissance. I also hear excellent things about Rayman Origins.

I just got Rayman- haven't put it in yet, but everything I've read says it's amazing platform fun. Missed the TrU $19.99 deal, unfortunately, but I paid $49 for DKCR, $29.99 for a game that's supposedly as good if not better (maybe a little less difficult, that'd be OK by me) is a deal.
