hello all. I just found this wonderful site and haven't quite found a solution to my issue. I have a nintendo wii that I have connected to a Denon AVR-1312 via av cables that came with the system. The only video out I have going to my tv is an hdmi. I can get audio but no picture. Does anyone know if there is a way to get this to work (av through hdmi)? I saw some decoding options on the receiver, but wasnt sure if it had any encoding options. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. I will monitor the post regularly, so if you need more information, please ask. Again, thanks for any help (...or bad news if this can't be done lol)

Well I found the answer to this question and will post it here so if anyone else has this question they'll have a quick answer. in brief, with this receiver, it CANNOT BE DONE.

"Non-networked Models with no Video Conversion

The following three models do not have an ethernet connection for network features, and also do not have the ability to convert analog video inputs to HDMI output. This means that, if you have non-HDMI sources, you will need to make more than one video connection to your display.
