I got my NES for Xmas 1986. I remember playing Baseball and 10-Yard Fight, and of course Mario...

Wow, the memories! We had one in '87, but I don't remember the robot. That must have been the Deluxe Set or something!

I had one when they first came out. I asked my perents for one thinking it was pure fantasy because back then the $80+ was a lot of money and I was around 7 years old. When I got the base system (no robot or light gun) I was in pure heaven. This heaven lasted for the next 6 years or so. If I had Zelda hooked up and ready to go at home right now I would lose a day or two of my life.

I had one. Rbi baseball, legend of zelda, tecmo bowl and the mario games had me enthralled for way too many hours.

I got one, in 1987 I think. Yea it was awesome. I still remember unwrapping and getting that gift, so obviously it was an important type of moment in my childhood.

I remember when my neighbor got one. He was the first person I knew to have one. My friends and I all couldn't stand the kid, but we had to be nice just so we could play SMB on his NES.

Good times. biggrin.gif
