I wonder how many more releases Wii U will see this year on store shelves? There are at least three confirmed, with Axiom Verge (Previously an eShop exclusive), Darksiders, and Cars 3 all recently announced or reconfirmed.

Nintendo is confirmed as finished which dashes my fantasy of a late retail release of Fatal Frame (Can't imagine even Limited Run Games getting their hands on it ), but a look at 2016's slate shows several instances like Axiom Verge of eShop exclusives getting a retail version, several Lego games, and Just Dance 2017. Those latter two are franchises that have given Nintendo a lot of support.

In fact even the Nintendo Wii got Just Dance 2017 last Fall, a testament to the strength that hit casual franchise has on Nintendo platforms. I imagine Lego is possibly finished with Lego Worlds skipping the 360, PS3, and Wii U, but I'd be surprised if 2017 departs without Just Dance 2018.

I'm in for Axiom Verge, for sure.

I've also been playing it on the Wii U. As of now, I've got 122h15m in the game. Approx. $0.50 per hour and dropping to play this game. I still have yet to see everything this game has.
