Trying to decide which Wii U game to get next. There are three I'm thinking about... which would you get?

I voted Rayman, but if you never played Wind Waker before, go that route. That said, I'll probably buy WW HD down the road myself.

I have never failed. I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Sadly I think Rayman will be the first one to drop in price (and be the cheapest)... but I also think it's the better game of the 3.

I love WW, my favorite 3D Zelda, but that bloom...Just watching the title screens side by side, makes me want the option to toggle it off. Between the new clouds and vaseline filter, it totally un-improves the art direction in my eyes (I'll give them the shadows, those are awesome). Plus it's a 10 year old game that's being sold for $50... I'll stick to the original for now.

Poor Pikmin. Unloved. Unwanted.

Nintendo first party games maintain their pricing for years, if it's a question of cost don't bother waiting for any kind of real sale or price drop soon on WW or Pikmin. Rayman I fully expect to be $25 or thereabouts on Black Friday, if you can hold off a couple months.

Too many systems and games....not enough time or money!

If Rayman is the most likely to drop in price, I'll wait on that one. Between the other two, I'll probably go with Pikmin. I loved Wind Waker, but I was surprised to see the price at $50. Even if the graphics are vastly improved, it's still basically the same game. Besides, I did love the original Pikmin, and Pikmin 3 is of course a completely new game.

Thanks for the input!

FYI, I was at Target and saw that Pikmin was on sale for $50 so I went ahead and picked it up. Can't wait to try it out. smile.gif

Knowing Ubisoft, Rayman Legends is bound to go on sale, even digitally. Assassins Creed 3 is now $20 in stores and only a year old. I remember picking up Origins for $10 used

WiiU: moothemagiccow

PSN: moothemagiccow (duh)

And the Assassin's Creed franchise is much bigger than Rayman. Rayman is not the kind of game that will sell well at a $60 pricetag in today's market. Cut that in half, and then you'll see some sales movement. Also, considering its timing in the same month of GTA5, bigger name titles coming out soon along with the next round of systems from Sony and MS, Legends is going to be relegated to 'meh, I'll get it when it hits $20' status.

Too many systems and games....not enough time or money!
