Is there any way to transfer photos to the Wii other than an SD card? How about through Opera, by viewing an email attachment or a site like photobucket? I do have an SD card but all my pics are on my computer, and I can't figure out how to transfer them from the laptop to the SD card in the digital camera.

The easiest way would probably be just to pick up an SD card reader that would attach to your laptop. Then you could read and write to the SD card directly without having to go through the camera.

Easiest would be to email the photos to your wii message board. w(console number)@wii.com.

I sure thought you could email them to your wii also, but then I looked and couldn't even figure out how. So it's a w, then the number all together? I thought I remembered it being only the number.

thanks for posting this...To the poster above, you have to register your friend (yourself, in this case) so that you can send a personal email from your account to the Wii. First, you'll receive an automated email to your personal inbox that you have to reply to, then you'll have officially added each other.
