I plan to use this with my Optoma HD65 Projector for now.

-AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ Brisbane 2.8GHz Dual-Core black edition Processor (I might upgrade processor to a faster AM2+ in a year or two)
-Arctic Cooler 7 heatsink
-MSI K9A2 CF-F V2 AM2+/AM2 AMD 790X Crossfire
-ASUS ATI 4850
-Vista 64 bit home
-4gb Corsair RAM
-500gb WD

I would think that this will be good enough to last me a few years, consider I've been using a Sony Vaio laptop for the last 3 years, and a desktop built in 2003 until the other day when it bit the bullet (leaking capacitors on mobo) and I figured might as well buy some new stuff.

I have to say its incredible how low the prices have come. I couldnt believe the total in my shopping cart at first. Newegg continues to impress.

thinks its due to more ppls buyin laptops or just buyin prebuilt systems..so their forced to lower prices. Builders like u and i r reapin the savings though. Remember 3 yrs ago I paid over 300 for a gig of ram..now ram is so dirt cheap.. video cards have come down lots also u get more performance these days for not much money. These are good times...now bring on the games..lol
