Sounds like Arkham Knight is a bit of a disaster on PC right now.

Gives me time to finish Origins I guess anyway.

I'm waiting for GOTY Batman. It was already $37 at gmg and I very nearly bit. I gotta work through some of this s*** I bought on all these steam sales.

This year I only bought a few things didn't break $40, I don't think. If you don't count the $87 in rocksmith songs.

This year I can proudly say I didn't buy a single thing on the Steam sale. For once lol.

Other than that controller app, me neither. I already owned it, or I had no interest in exploring it.

Zilch for me too. I'm taking on fat until the Winter Holiday sale. Expecting some VR titles to start dribbling in by then. Along with a few remasters.

I got Alien: Isolation, Resident Evil 6, Hitman: Blood Money and Plants vs. Zombies for $22.86 total. Not a bad haul @ $5.71 per game (avg)

Nicely done. I'm out only $60 and picked up about 8-9 games or so if not more. I think the most I spent for one was $13 or so.

I picked up Sleeping Dogs: DE during the summer sale (and that's all) and am absolutely loving it. It's on sale again now during the mid week sale, highly recommended.

I haven't played a ton of it yet, but what I have played has been pretty fun and interesting. Glad I snagged it a while ago

In preparation for my Windows 10 upgrade...I plan to add a 4TB internal Sata "D" drive to put Steam, Origen & other game engines on. And store their libraries. My 1 TB Sata "C" drive is really jammed right now. It's slowing down and I need more turf. How easy is it to change Steam over using "Steam Mover"? What are the pitfalls based on those with experience? Should I do this before or after changing to Windows 10? I'm also considering putting a 500GB SSD in as a new "C" Drive in the fall.

So here's what you do. Pop that new drive in, Make a folder on it called SteamLibrary. Copy your "steamapps" folder over into the SteamLibrary folder on D. Then delete everything in the old "steamapps" folder on C. On Steam go to your settings, and in the Downloads tab, hit Steam Library Folders. Add the new one to Steam and restart it. It should pick up all the game installs as being on D now instead.

If you're planning to use an SSD for your C drive, move the games now. Otherwise you can do it whenever you feel like, before the upgrade or after, that won't have any effect on it at all.

Many thanks Marafice. That's exactly what I'll do. I have a 1TB mirror image "F" drive for backup, if anything goes wrong.

Sweet all games are now back and installed onto my new Clean Win 10 drive. @bd2003 I even managed to get steam to recognize all my games on my data drive when I told it to install Alien Isolation. I pointed to that folder and pulled all the games into my library and did not download anything. I love how steam made me feel smart today

Not at all a fan of the new "Big Picture Mode" changes in Beta. For one, not once in my life have I ever wanted to see Music or Videos inside Steam, so that's a waste in the sidebar in Library view. Search games (which literally just give an entire screen to duplicate what is already in an icon at the bottom at all times - "Hit X to search") and activate a product are just as terrible to be prominently displaying there. The whole sidebar is really terrible. On top of that, the right side of the screen is wasted because of a "Filter Games" button that blocks out an entire column.

And, worst of all for my use, I previously could use an IR remote to navigate around BPM. The up button would go back a level, and the arrows and select button would select a game, at which point I would then have to switch to the controller. Now, once I open Steam, I can navigate around but never go back a level with the IR remote. Pretty much as soon as I open Steam I have to switch immediately to the controller.

Edit: Screenshot from Engadget:

I swear, between Microsoft and Valve, I'm starting to think it's a conspiracy to kill my HTPC experience.
