Sweet!

Name the actor who's narrating the video for 'brownie points' (yes, I know who it is ).

My Second Life character looks and acts exactly like me except he can fly.

Looks great! The music used in the trailer, which I guess will be the main theme, sounds fantastic.

Hah! Good luck there. Not many traditional RPGs have gamepad support, and if they do the keys are still better (Fallout 3 is the rare exception to this).

Actually both Morrowind and Oblivion on PC had native dual stick gamepad support, so Skyrim prolly will to.

I think I am going pc version with this one as well. Graphics on the consoles are getting dated to my eyes.

This trailer is actually created from XBox 360 footage. If it looks this good on the 360 I'm highly anticipating what the PC version will look like!

Looking good.

That Azura statue is as epic looking as a statue can possibly be.

For obsessive Skyrim fans (like me), Reaper has a great thread in the 360 forum that's updated almost daily.

Environment artists did a great job, love those high peaks. If you think about it, we've really been limited in landscape draw distance for so long, new games should really have some big terrain.

I'm sure some of you have seen this Oblivion Machinima, but for those that haven't it's a good example IMO of how Mods can add new life to a vanilla game.

I look forward to seeing what the Mod community can do with Skyrim's Creation Kit.

You watch a Donnie Yen movie to watch what Donnie does best - kick-ass!

Does anyone think it makes a difference if it is purchased via Steam vs Amazon? In other words, DD vs disc.

This is the only other game that I am excited to play (well, this and F4; maybe UC3) this year, so I can't wait. It is a lil bit cheaper on Amazon, but not enough to make a difference.

I greatly prefer Steam for the easy portability and backing up of content, regardless of modest price differentiations.

I only buy a physical copy from Amazon if the game can be activated on my Steam or Origin accounts.

It'll be the same game, get it in your preferred format. Lot's of people are wary of DD at first, but honestly, once you dive in you'll realize the huge amount of hassles that are resolved by it. I don't think I've bought a physical copy of a PC game in like 10 years.

Thanks guys.

I am a huge Steam advocate (I think my Steam catalog is about 140 games). It's just that I was a lil surprised when I bought Civ5 and I was required to use Steam. I like physical media (I am an information hog and I love reading manuals on train rides, ect).

Because my internet connection can be spotty sometimes, it is a pain to want to play a game and have to wait an hour for service to be reestablished; I used to take Steam offline while I was connected, just in case, but it became a pain. I may have to go back to that routine, but it is kinda aggravating. It would be nice to just pop in the disc and play when I want.

I've bought a couple of digital copies of games and I'm loving the no cd swapping Also, I find better deals more often with DD

only thing that is bad, is the monthly download limit we have in here Need to plan the download accordingly. I still buy physical copies tho, save on the download limit

Yeah, this is frustrating. I am luckily on an ISP with no bandwidth limitations, but I know those are becoming fewer and far between, especially in Canada.

I am paying a lot with Rogers and capped at 90gb per month...then surcharges apply but tops out at max $25 extra.

This game looks great. I can't wait to find out how they've tinkered with the underlying game mechanics.

Still a bit wary because it's a Bethesda game. Let's hope the PC product is solid and not a buggy mess...

Not bad. Gets you pumped. There should have been wind effects on his body once the dragon roared but not that big a deal. Definitely gets the blood pumping, I'll say that. I'd be up for a live action ES movie if done right.
