Actually it's good you missed out, because this is the lowest price I've seen for Crysis 2 in a long time. I've seen it for $7.50 before, and I think it was $10 for both the original Crysis and Crysis 2, but I'm not sure I've ever seen it for 5 bucks straight up.

It finally hit my magical buy price smile.gif

Yeah, anything $5 or less is pretty much a buy if I'm at least mildly interested, as long as its widescreen and can be played with an Xbox controller. That price is too close to mobile pricing to even debate the cost.

I mentioned this in the Steam thread, but Crysis 2 (actually all the Crysis games) has a bug that outputs 24p when DX11 is selected and playing on a TV. mad.gif There's work-arounds involving custom resolutions and other things - Google for more info.

Amazon has a "Tantalizing THQ Medley" package for $12 for download - six games that all look worth checking out! cool.gif

This is probably considered a feature(cinematic experience). Even with DX10 it'll be better than playing on a console.

This is what I did when I played Crysis 2 a year ago. Worked fine.

I just take the philosophy that we are "renting" our games. Or we're leasing them. We don't really own them, but hey, when you can get the thing for 5 bucks or less, it becomes an impulse buy, no matter how huge the backlog. The cost of upgrading to decent PC equipment, is offset by the savings in game prices if you can wait long enough. There are so many great games that I'm willing to buy at $5 or less, so for me, I just kick back and play my backlog until I see one of these games hit that price barrier for the first time.

Man....I just had gamefly send me that Off the Record game for xbox, for that price I might just send it back and have my next game sent.

Off the record would be $6.00 actually.

Edit: Apparently that pre-order 25% code doesn't work with bioshock. Would have been a good deal though!

Don't know if you saw before I edited, but bioshock has a $15 credit with it. %25 off +$15 credit would have made it $30. I was ready to buy bioshock. Not so keen on the new tomb raider yet.

EA Store also has Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning for $10.

Great action RPG, my most-played 360 game of last year.

There's also some pretty good other sale items, including Mass Effect 1 & 2, Batman Arkham City, a couple of the Battlefields, a couple Crysis's, couple Need For Speeds, Dragon Age, Alice: Madness Returns, and others.

Wow. This is the first really good Indie Royale. Usually they are an off-brand bundle, but this time they've actually come really close to the quality level of a Humbe Bundle. Good!

A couple not-bad mid-week deals at Green Man Gaming:

-Bulletstorm - $5
-Dead Space 2 - $5
-Burnout Paradise: Ultimate Box - $10

All via Origin. They also have Crysis 2 for $10, Mass Effect 3 for $15 and ME Trilogy for $30 if you missed previous (better) sales. And don't mind using Origin, which ME3/Trilogy is the only digital option.
