He is right. There is a small increase in legendary drops for each torment but it seems really small in diminshing returns. I find rpetty equal Legendaries from T1 to T4...

However, the QUALITY of the items isn't affected by the difficulty level which means that a legend that drops on master will be the same as the one on Torment.

But like said before, in RoS, some legendaries can ONLY be dropped in Torment 1+.

So for now, you're better to just clean fast to have a chance to drop legend than be stuck on Torment 1 killing a pack for 15 minutes to have a *better" chance to find a legend...

LAst night I made a quick run with my sorc before my gf got home... 15 minutes max... 2 legends. Then carried 2 friends on T1 and I found nothing in 1h30 but they found 4 legends including a Thunderfury which I need for my build....rolleyes.gifmad.gif

No more carrying dead weight for me tongue.gif

I agree that fast farming is important. Torment increases the drop rate but it is still a very low drop rate.

Farming legendaries is all about clearing as fast as possible.

Farming Paragon Levels is different. The difference between Torment's level is noticeable!

Great update, lots of changes (makes it almost identical to the console version now). Best new feature was the improvement to the waypoint. First time I click on one I just stared at it for awhile, pretty slick little map system now.

5 days until the Expansion hits!

I'm getting pretty excited to try the Crusader myself. I was always a fan of the Paladin so the class is appealing to me!

I found 2 pieces of the new Inna's Set for my monk. Slowly building the full set.

Wizards are OP as hell right now. My decend geared Wizard (less work into it than my monk for sure) can do T4 way easier than my monk rolleyes.gifbiggrin.gif

The expansion launched today!

From the forums, it seems like the launch was smooth!

I haven't tried it myself since it launched at midnight here and I was trying to sleep! I did try the Crusader on Europe's server just to decide if I would make a male of a female smile.gif

Leaving work early today to get it going. One of my friend is also finishing early tongue.gif

Anyone tried it yet? How do you like it so far?

Me and my friend are going to start Act V right away with our main and level the Crusaders probably tomorrow! Can't wait biggrin.gif

Looooong day at work today rolleyes.gif

What a blast i had yesterday! Took 2 hours from work and my friend did the same. We played until I left for hockey (both our GF were gone also!)

Almost done with Act 5, both lvl 70. We started a T3 but turned it to T1 at around lvl 65 ... it was... hard! eek.gif

Still going strong at T1, some packs are harder but nothing special cool.gif

I read someone complaining about Act V being short... we played 4-5 hours last night (exploring everywhere and salvaging everything) and we are not done yet smile.gif

Tonight Act V is going down and I'll be starting a new Crusader! My hellfire ring is ready, Cain set is ready and Born's set also... I'll be rocking at lvl 25 biggrin.gif

Started levelling my Crusader last night.. level 31 in less than 30 minutes biggrin.gif

Hellfire ring with 300+ Str/Vit and base dmg made levelling from 1-12 on torment 6 cake.

Then I lowered it to T4. At lvl 15 my friend joined me at lvl 19... so the mobs were lvl 19.

When I got level 21 I equipped my full Cain's Set (+30% exp with Ruby +35% exp in helm)

Level 23 Full Born's set with a socket in the sword with a +190 damage Ruby.... I'm sitting at 6k DPS at level 31 right now cool.gif

Pretty easy to level up doing bounties smile.gif

Liking the Crusader so far (Paladins were always my favorite class in D2)

I think once I finish Bioshock Infinite DLC I'll uninstall and reinstall this game. Not sure if I'll get the expansion or not yet. I have been getting the itch to play again after hearing about the good improvements.

I would recommend getting the expansion. It's a really good addition for 40$. The adventure mode helps for the "endgame" so far. The Mystic improves your gear, which is now BoA so it helps).

I'm also liking the Crusader smile.gif

Yea, that Crusader is looking interesting. Once I get the game back installed and updated I'll break down fairly quick for the update. I had a Level 60 DH and Warrior Level 60 before I stopped playing. I have no problems staring a Crusader biggrin.gif Hopefully I'll have no troubles signing in to the game once I get it going again. I better hurry up and beat the latest DLC on Bioshock!

Couple of the Crusader's skills were buffed yesterday in the patch. Haven't tried them myself tho.

Be aware that the Crusader has ALOT of skills depending on cooldowns... so the class might feel slow at time rolleyes.gif

It's still fun to jump into the fight from the Heavens (Falling Sword skill) and then hurls Lighting from the sky and have hammers flying around you biggrin.gif

Ok, got the game and installed (playable already) and wow did they make some huge improvements. One hour into playing Reaper of Souls with my Demon Hunter and I got a Legendary Drop (chest piece) for her with great DH stats! Shorty after I got a Croswbow doing 1500DPS and that is at level 61!
I'm assuming if I need to make a new class I'm going to have to start at act 1 and level them up all the way. Not a bad thing since it will give me time to figure out the new Crusader class.

Just picked it up too. Getting ultra powerful legendaries left and right that make everything I found prior to RoS seem like a joke.

Pretty much every change and addition they made was for the better, although I still can't help but feel that it's pretty thin on content for $40. Just one act, one class, one npc and one new active skill for the old classes...whereas the HOTS campaign was almost as long as wings of liberty. I dunno, maybe there's a lot more there for people who play it non-stop, but for the less dedicated it's pretty thin.

What's the deal with paragon levels? I thought it was something you only unlocked past the level cap, but I see all these people in the 40s running around in them.

Paragon is now account wide. So a new character starts off with whatever paragon level your account has.

That is still the same. Only level cap characters earn new paragon levels.

Do you know about paragon points? If not, check out the Paragon button on your inventory screen.

What was cap on D3 to begin with? Did it not raise to level 70? I thought Paragon was earned past level 60? My DH was level 60 when I quit playing and was earning paragon, but I never got paragon 1 since I got involved with Guild Wars 2 and was annoyed with D3 and the drops. I thought I had my barbarian at level 60 too, but he is only at level 34 so I'm going to have to get them moving. Bummer part was my DH got a Legendary dagger which is what my warrior uses and that will not work since it is a level 61 item and they are stuck at level 34 frown.gif

I'm gonna try and get on late tonight (like 11pm est). Although I don't have a mic at the moment.

Jumped into a high level torment IV game with my freshly 70 wizard and I was paragon level 15 within minutes. I tried jumping in torment VI games just to see how long I could last but everyone kept shouting me out.

Also threw a imperial ruby on the first socketed weapon I could find for my lvl 15 crusader and hopped in a torment V solo adventure....I was level 30 something within minutes.

Takes some of the fun out of the early level progression but you can gain levels crazy fast to get a new character up to speed.
