I can highly recommend any GTX 560 Ti card, if it works as well as the Gigabyte one that I have. I way overpayed for my card (tax and shipping killed me), but I really wanted that specific card because it had been rated as one of the most quiet cards, coolest cards, and powerful performer in comparison to misc. 560 Ti cards.
Had I been more patient, I would have probably bought the first dual fan version that I could get for under $200 shipped. I like the idea of it having two fans on it. I wouldn't get one that only had one fan. I know that you can get extra fans for your case, but I still like the idea of the GPU itself having the dual fans built in.
I would have bought the 2 GB HD 6950 that people are able to flash to the performance of a 6970, or whatever it is, but the thing is, I want to be able to do some 3D stuff.(I have a 3D plasma, considering cheapo 3D projector for shnits and skiggles) I've talked to quite a few people that are really into the 3D thing, and the reality is that Nvidia simply has the better drivers and support for 3D. Less headaches with Nvidia. I'm not any kind of PC wiz kid, so I wanted something that will just work well without a lot of interference on my part.
