I want to use this mouse from 13 to 14 feet away. Anyone know if it has the range? I've searched the net, and can't find the range listed.

This mouse has 17 fully programmable/remap-able (including macros) buttons. So it should be great for general gaming/HTPC use - if (like me) you don't like using (fumbling for) the keyboard anymore than necessary.

I've been using the Logitech MX 610 Cordless Laser Mouse since it's introduction (2004), and I love all those programmable buttons - and only wish I had more (the Razer has 7 more with Windows 7) . Also, the Logitech's tracking is too "jumpy" at this distance, since moving to Windows 7. And, I lost two of the programmable buttons with the Windows 7 compatible software for it.

So, If the Razer has enough range, the only downside it has compared to the Logitech is the charge is likely to last a max of 72 hours (the Logitech goes for months on 2 AA batteries). But, if it tracks smoothly, and for the extra buttons, I can put up with that.

Thanks
