I dunno, I guess I'm one of the few people who found Psychonauts to be a game that was decidedly "Meh"......sure it was an amazing indie game but after a point it was "JAFP", where the P was Platformer....

Good game but really I'd like to see something original. I'm growing tired of the whole sequelitis the industry has. I enjoy sequels but I could be just as happy with a totally new ip. The only real sequels I've enjoyed lately are ES:V Skyrim (although it doesn't really carry all the baggage of a sequel), SR3 (best open world series out there, this game was genius) and Deadspace 2 (better than the first in every way and the last part of the game, while having a few issues, and ending are amazing). I don't know I guess I'd like to see Psychonauts 2 but it'd have to be a damn good game to warrant the excitement. The first was pretty satisfying to me as a look into that particular universe.

The guy is now backing away after realizing Schafer's budget demands. It would be another financial disaster, considering the first game didn't sell well.
