Hi everyone,

I am building a pc that is a gaming/home theater combo pc. I put some components together and I wanted to see if I did it right this time. I researched and am trying again. Are these components compatible? Also I eventually want to SLI the 680 but I cant afford it now. The computer will be hooked up via hdmi to my 1.4 hdmi compatible receiver (do i need a special hdmi cable for this?) and from my receiver to a 3D Optoma HD3300 Projector. Also I plan on using Nvidia 3dtv play and TMT5 to display 3D. What are all of your thoughts? Also my case comes with 2 120mm fans and a 240mm fan, what other cooling do you recommend?

why did you create another thread...

trying my luck with sony a1e after what feels like being in jail when I look at 2 lg c7's I've had. Jailbars you can see in movies and games isn't acceptable for this kind of money. LG calls it "normal" maybe sony won't with same panel.

None of your links work. If I were you I would wait at least a couple of weeks before building because: 1. Intels IB cpu's will be out, AMD will counter with trinity cpu's, hopefully meaning cheaper prices and better performance. 2. Nvidia will be bringing out more gfx cards and more oc cards, which will make AMD drop it's price some. Bottom line if you can hold out a couple of weeks you will be able to buy a powerful HTGPC at a good price.

It's amazing how this thread has even more problems than your last one from a couple days ago. Again, tell us what you are getting instead of asking us to go on a scavenger hunt to figure out what you want. Help us help you.

The 680 gtx's have a Full size hdmi so you just use a normal hdmi cable. Fix your links and I can help alot more.
