Hey guys looking into buying this game packet but was curious if it's compatible with a 360 controller or controller plus xpadder. I know there are a ton of controls in keyboard so maybe one option would be having my keyboard next to me to push a key. Ill keep it short and sweet why I don't want kbm. Disability makes it impossible to use kbm

Love sports, movies, and games. Slowly some day I'll add a projector and screen. Until then, I'll build up my library.

I don't think it is man. I've been had it since launch and never seen anything on 360 controller compatibility.

That game uses almost the entire keyboard for actions, but maybe theres a pc gamepad out there somewhere that would work.

I'm pretty sure in the newer operation flashpoints, you can use the controller. I have all of them and find them fun to play with friends. That is if you're looking for a military pc shooter.

I'll look into operation flashpoint.

I was thinking maybe this game is slow enough to go with keyboard and controller. Like get to my objective and use keyboard for command then pick up controller and go? Was just looking for a very tactical realistic military game. Something slower and a longer solo campaign

It fully supports the 360 gamepad (icons, menus, and all). The only part that doesn't is the mission editor.

Also, I believe there is a demo on steam that you can check out.

ARMA 2, the DayZ mod, and arma 3 have me interested in PC gaming again. I've been out of the PC world for a while as my systems are either mac or older PC setups.

If I wanted to run these games at full tilt, what PC components should I pay special attention too? Thanks fellas.

What resolution? If 1080p, a gtx570 and 2600+ ran it pretty smoothly, even with some AA i think.

It's hilarious seeing this 2 year old game ruling the top sellers list on Steam at $30 and battling it out with Diablo3 for the top spot on the Amazon sales charts. All because of a little mod.

Sucks that you need the add-on to run the mod..also, its mult-only yes? ARMA2 is a game I bought for $8 bucks and was immediately reminded how unforgiving the game is.......
