Yes, I'm doing research, but why not ask my buddies!?

I'm going to use my components from my old PC and put them in a HTPC case and in my entertainment center.

Also, the smaller the better. Prefer a "stereo component" looking case as it will be visible in my entertainment center. If not, a small'ish normal case is a secondary option.

Must accommodate:

I just bought one of these. Great build quality and shallow.

This is what I got and it works perfect for my gaming HTPC. Alot of room to work with just make sure that it will fit in your entertainment center. It takes full ATX mb, standard ps and a big videocard( I have a xfx 6750hd video card) with decent ventalation (never had a heat problem). Good luck it looks like its diso'd

Hi Tomfoolery, There seems to be some kind of HTPC case shortage. I know some silvertone grandia models seem to be out of stock. I am using the cooler master elite 360 currently. It is fairly quiet. I have a shorter GPU (HIS 5670) installed in it. The location of the power supply prevents the use of larger GPUs. I am getting ready to build a new HTPC/gaming pc as well. I just saw where the Fractal Design Node 605 is available at NCIX.com. I don't know much about it. I finally gave up trying to find the Silverstone GD08. I went to Frys and bought a Corsair Carbide 300r mid tower and some quite 120mm fans. I hope the case isn't too loud. The looks of it should blend in with my Polk audio setup even though it won't be sitting on my T.V. stand like my cooler master 360.http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=75057&vpn=FD-CA-NODE-605-BL&manufacture=Fractal%20Design&promoid=1360

Welcome to AVS XR1200. I decided to just use an old case I have and "hide" it. The cases are nice, just expensive. Thanks for the input everyone.
