Recently I start to play old pc and playstation game with simulator. Holly cow, that pixels! When I was a child I didnt even look at that with "pixels" but with "nice 3d graphic".. just imaging what would be after 20 years!

So I have played Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Kingdom Hearts, HOMM3 :* and Jagged Aliance. Best, Cheap, GOOD games

FYI, simulator talk is frowned upon but I enjoy tinkering with them myself.

For some great deals on old PC games gog.com is hard to beat.

Race the Sun. A really hard game. Keep your solar powered ship in the sun as it sets and avoid everything the game throws at you. I've almost made it to region 4. Almost.
The graphics are simple geometry shapes but the game changes each day with new pathways and stuff.

Titan Fall is my primary PS4 game. And I'm loving it. Although I wish playing it across 3 screens wouldn't get rid of the radar. Anyone else have this issue or is it just me?

You'd better hold on to it, you might have the only copy of it in the world. tongue.gif

I picked up Remember Me on sale from Steam - quite good for under $10!

This game seems to be a collection of a bunch of things we've done many times in other games - combo-based combat, ledge-climbing, memory-loss story, etc.. - but it all fits together in an odd way that feels refreshing somehow. Interesting design, some nice textures in spots, and great 60fps, although frame-rate drops on occasion when loading different sections of the game.

I was having a good time 'till it crashed though. redface.gif I hope that's not common. Still, a gem that it seems not enough people played.

Console gamers curious/interested in PC gaming?

I was considering that one as well, looks like an intriguing world, even if the gameplay is nothing special (so I hear).

I've been playing Brothers: Tale of Two Sons, and am very pleasantly surprised. I have never heard of this game before, and it flew under the radar until I picked it up on a Steam sale a while back. In my opinion it's a hidden gem worth a try, or at least it was for me.

Trying to decide should I start up on Borerland 2 since Defiance starts soon.

So many games so little time...

Guess I'm burned out (hate to say it). Brain is just too tired for this stuff anymore but every time Steam has a sale on something good I get it anyway in case the mood strikes me again.
Picked up the P51D add on for DCS World Flight Sim
DayZ
Skyrim
Metro:Last Light
Saint Row IV
SystemShock2
Played Bioshock Infinite and once I start, play it for 5 hours at a time in 3d - Amazing in 3D!
Started Borderlands2 but just not that interested.

Must have played Far Cry1&2, HL2, BF2, PoE, Just Cause2 and L4D2 and all the STALKERs too many times.
Steam even gave me Medal for owning so many games. I bought games on sale just so I didn't have to load the original 5CDs some of my old games had when I build a new computer.
Figure someday if I get laid up or something I will have something to do.

I've been working on the backlog. Finished Trine 2 the other day, and it's an absolutely beautiful 3D sidescroller. Dead Space 3 is on the menu now, and it's action packed. Probably best described as Serious (Sam) Horror. Not what I expected from the series, but I'm having fun with it, and it's not to shabby in 3D either.

Elder Scrolls Online is released today. I hear the install needs 60 Gigs of space to complete before finaly setting in on 30Gigs of total space. 15 Bucks a month.
I wonder if it will be similar to when the first expansion of World of Warcraft came out. I remember everyone created a Blood Elf and there were thousands of em running around trying to complete the same quests at the same time.
No native gamepad support, but plenty of vids showing how to get it to work no problem.
I'll run to Gamestop at lunch. Need to find the emperial version so I can get a horse and a pet crab starting out.

back from lunch...
Only one person at the gamestop had preordered the big box version with the statue. Unfortunatly that was the version with the horse.
I'll have to get the horse the old fashion way..... steal it. assuming the game allows that sort of thing.

One week later and I'm a level 7 wood elf. Looks like I'm hooked. I may have to sell the new Xbox Ho Hum and PS Snore to pay the monthy 15 bucks.

I so wanted to play this game just like Human Head envisioned it.
http://humanhead.com/games-prey2.html
Now it looks like Bethesda has flipped it over to Arkane to completely do over. I think we may have lost a good one here. I loved Prey 1. Can you imagine playing that mind twister in VR?!

I know L4D2 is sortof old but with all the Add-on Custom maps, Mutations and modded skins, sounds, weapons and music it never gets old. The mods install with just a check on the workshop page and there are over 300 pages of mods + all the Maps at L4DMaps.com. Some beautiful maps that even with an M60 and unlimited ammo it is still quite a challenge to finish. You can even beat a Zombie with a Salmon if you want and make the Boomers Fart to give them away, haha. smile.gif

I'm occupying myself with Wolfenstien New Order and BF4 until the next thing comes along, or Witcher 3 releases. I may actually burn some vacation for that one.

I bought a PS4 for "The Last of Us", but did enjoy Tomb Raider Def. Edition (as good as PC) and Killzone on it.

Ordered the standard edition from GMG for $45, but I'm reading online that keys aren't going to be released until after Midnight PST.

A little disappointing, especially if it's going to be a big DL'd.

Put ten hours into Van Helsing and it's pretty good. Once you get the systems figured out you can soak up the world which is quite funny in places.
