Ok, problem has been fixed. I did a reformat of my C:\ drive and did a new install of Win 10 and all the programs. Looks like everything is up and running right now.

Ouch - the joys of PC gaming.

But, good to hear the issue is cleared up.

Finished up Forza Horizon 3 (at least until the expansions)

Gonna be picking up Gears 4 and BF1 in the next week or so and playing those for a bit. Looking forward to Dishonored 2 as well, really enjoyed the first one.

Just a stunning game, visually. Quite a different launch for DICE this go around.

Nope, very smooth. The launch of this title is much different from BF4, the game runs pretty much flawlessly.

I already own BF1 on XBone but spent the $5 for a month of Origin Access and have been playing the 10 hour trial on PC. Obviously this is know but the game does look better on PC. I'm only running a 750Ti but get a solid 60fps at the default graphics settings. I'm still improving my skill with keyboard/mouse though so my performance on PC is s%(% compared to how I do on XBone.

I have been thinking of putting in some serious time improving my skill with mouse/keyboard and in the future buying more games on PC than console.

Just beat Quantum Break (Steam version). Good stuff with pretty cool visual effects. However, I think I enjoyed Alan Wake's story more (probably because it was horrorish ).

I'm the opposite. I'm done with the keyboard and mouse. It messed up my posture enough to make me switch to the Xbox 360 controller. Can you use the controller with BF1 on the PC?

Yea, I spent about 2 hours on the game and never made it to the 1st objective after escaping. Managed to clear out a bandit nest Totally bummed that it didn't launch at midnight on the 27th like I thought so missed some playing time then!

Just finished SP on Titanfall 2 and it was decent, the Titan (BT) having a bit of personality made it more 'fun', the game needs some bug fixes but runs fairly well over-all.

For those having any issues with SkyRim Special Edition on the Menu for 21:9 support. I installed this Mod and it fixed my Inventory weight and total gold (they are now viewable).

I am finally getting a solid 60 fps at 4K nearly maxed out (no AA) on the benchmark.
I don't care much for the game but glad I waited to play it.

Playing Battlefield 1, Gears of War 4, and Titanfall 2 right now, as well as some Forza Horizon 3 when the mood strikes me (eagerly awaiting the expansions). Aside from that, playing a couple games on my PS4 as well, DragonQuest Builders, and World of Final Fantasy

I tried so many times to get used to the Xbox Controller while playing shooters on the PC. I just can not get the hang of it. I guess after 20+ years of keyboard and mouse it is hard to switch. The control is just not there for me. I did play and enjoyed both Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider using the Xbox Controller and found it quite natural. The shooters are where I am having the difficultly. Any tips?

Honestly, you're just not going to get that pinpoint accuracy with a controller that you get with a mouse. Using a controller it's more like trying to hone into a headshot - you're a bit too far left, so you move the analog stick and now you're slightly to the right, then bam you're on target. Whereas with a mouse you just aim the sight to where you want it. Using a mouse, you'd make it fair vs controller users by pounding back a few shots of tequila.

Anyway, I don't play shooters save for Gears (which is very forgiving). If I did play shooters, I'd probably suck it up and stick with the KB/M combo and just do stretches after to keep my body aligned properly. Cheers.

If you are gaming from a desk, I would say stick to keyboard+mouse for FPS. This is coming from a mostly 100% gamepad user.

I pretty much use a m+kb for everything except racing games and maybe emulators/retro games. It just feels more natural for me to use the mouse and keyboard setup.

I play most games with the controller. It takes time to get used to it. I remember when duke 3d came out, that's the first game I forced myself to learn mouse aiming. After that it's all I would use. I've always had consoles so I've kept up with controller use over the years.

I've come to terms with my poor mousing ability in FPS games and mainly use the controller for everything. It wouldn't make a difference for me.
