Hi, I noticed I had a stuck pixel on my lcd monitor and it turned out to be 2 pixels next to each other. I tried the pressure trick to see if it would fix them but am now worried about what that did.

You know that lighter screen patch you get after applying pressure that fades away? Well I noticed that after doing this, quite a few pixels (only visible during the lighter pressure patch) were a dark red color. Wherever I put pressure, they will appear. Also they are only visible on a black background.

They are not visible during normal use and all colors display correctly, but I'm worried that I've damaged the screen or something.

Will the reddened pixels be ok? They just look kinda bruised or something.

(Monitor is an Alienware Optx AW2310 btw)

You may have warped the light guides behind the LCD panel. Live and learn, if your LCD panel doesn't have a glass cover intended to be touched, then don't push on it.
