Bitfenix showed off the new mATX version of the Prodigy case at Computex today. It appears to have four expansion slots but I can't say if the case is larger than the mITX Prodigy as they look to be the same size in the limited photos seen so far.

Just saw a video about the case. It's called "Prodigy M" and the current test design has HDD mounts on the motherboard tray - on the opposite side of the motherboard - as well as on the bottom of the case. No drive cage in the case, which is very odd for a Bitfenix design. There's also a 200mm fan at the bottom of the test case above where the HDDs mount on the underside, and that's about it apart from the obvious mATX board support. It probably won't come out til the holidays or next year to coincide with the Haswell refresh and new Intel chipsets but at least they are working on it.

The Prodigy M is coming in September. Prepare your wallets! This case is more gamer-friendly than the mITX Prodigy, so I suspect many of you will go for it.

I love the Micro-ATX layout. I think I'll go for it when I do my Haswell-E build next year. I've been getting bored with the Lian-Li V354.
