I am looking for a device that will accept an optical audio (toslink) input for audio and an HDMI input for video then combine the streams into a single HDMI out to go to my AVR.
I have looked in quite a few online stores, but have not been able to find this particular combo. The closest I've come is a DVI + optical to HDMI, but I I'd rather stick with HDMI.
Can you explain what your end goal is? Maybe there's another way to get there.

Well the issue is that I have to split my HTPC video and audio because WMC crashes with surround sound via HDMI. it works fine with HDMI for video and optical for audio.
I need to then combine the two streams into a single HDMI to go into an HDMI switch. I've considered a DVI+optical to HDMI but don't really want to convert from DVI to HDMI, I'd rather just go HDMI through and through.
