Which of these Two CPUs Should I Buy for Gaming?

First off, I was going to buy a i5-4690K thanks to the kind advice of AVS member Marafice Eye, but my budget for a new build has shrunk somewhat, which has me looking at cheaper AMD CPUS ...

Like this one, the AMD A10-5800k ...

Here is a link for the i5 I was going to buy ...
http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-i5-...=1418793998796

My assumption is the Intel would be better ... but is it $100 better? Because that is roughly the price difference between the two. I could go a little cheaper on the build elsewhere, if you all the think the i5 just destroys the A10 ...

Please give me your thoughts ASAP as my trigger finger is getting itchy ...

Here's a quick comparison of the 2

I would say yes the i5 is $100 better than the A10. That's not to say the A10 is bad, but for gaming the i5 is definitely better

Okay, I think I'm going to scrimp and go with your original suggestion then ... but you could tell me what about the intel makes it superior for gaming?

Ah, never mind. Stupid question. Your link says it all.
