im not good at this hacking and was wondering do some games offer patches that allow 16:10 resolutions?
if not and i try modifying it, what is the worst that could happen if i mess up?

Isn't it time that this thread stop being stickied? It's so very old and neglected. Anything current supports widescreen, and anything old enough to not support wide resolutions has an extremely high chance of not being worth even looking at any more. Seriously, we are talking about Playstation 2 era games here.
