Anybody getting inconsistant probms after the 1.4 patch. I had to reload BF2 and all the addons twice before the Full 1.4 patch took. But now its real flakey. Some times I get errors say I have a mod'd install and kicks me off or when I try to run the new map, it kicks me. Well for me it looks like another DICE update that screwed up more then they fix...and now they want us to eventually pay to be beta testers for the BF2142.

EDIT: my BAD....The installs was at the same time as it seems as a stick of mem was going bad...tried reinstalling again but kept failing....thats another gig dead after confirming with mem test... :o

So doing an install now with just 1 gig and see what happens.

So what's the verdict...install or skip it? Is the new map available for co-op?

I installed it a few days ago and haven't had any problems so far -- I like the new map too. Some good close quarters urban combat, combined with a bit of open-range tanks. Not sure if the map is available for co-op.

Basicly if you want to play online, you have to install all the patches.
