Like the Pana BD-50 or the Sony BDP-S350 but.... BB has the Samsung BD1500 for $299 right now. Yowsah! Should I pull the trigger? Need bitstream DTSHD and/or TrueHD, but not PCM. How big is the 2.0 compliancy? Thanks.

Avoid the 1500 for the audio drop-outs and the reports of the yellow and red push on the 350 scared me away from that player. I got the BD30 at Circuit City for $319.99 (+ any coupons you can find) and is a solid player with a perfect picture.

Funny you mention that. I just saw it on the CC website. I could probably get BB to match it and get another 5% "back" on my Reward Zone. Thanks.

Samsung makes great plasma and LCD panels, but the worst BD players.

As a previous Samsung owner I have to agree.
