I used to be able to go back to an older version of software by plugging in the USB with the older version on it while the machine was on. After 2.22 I could no longer do this as the player would tell me that the software is old. Sorry to have to tell you this.

Question: When streaming content off a PC has anyone encountered problems with it playing content at the wrong frame rate?

Since this is an American box (NTSC) my best guess is that it is playing 25fps content (PAL) at 30fps, causing everything to be a bit faster. Still watchable, but all the voices are obviously higher pitched.

ince the last update (I don't use this BD player often!), my Network Connection Test works; all tests pass.
However I cannot use any of the apps -- Netflix, Pandora, YouTube -- they all say system not connected to internet.

Living in a temporary situation, so my setup is a bit different than normal. I have the samsung BD-P3600 hooked up to a Visio XVT423SV via hdmi. Just doing audio through the tv. Issue I am having is the volume keeps fluctuating when watching movies. I don't have any sound issues watch cable through a Motorola cable box (using just hdmi again), nor do I have issues streaming through the tv (Netflix on wireless through the tv, not the P3600). I tried swapping cables and inputs with the cable box, but doesn't help. Is there something in the settings I need to do differently, or is there an issue with the unit ? Didn't really use the player all that much before, but previously had it running through a 5.1 receiver via optical with no problems that I can remember.

See if your TV has a Dolby Volume (or equivalent) setting. That will level out te volume throughout the movie.

Mine stopped playing blurays, would not delete BD-Live content, and could not be reset by any method. Chucked it in the garbage.

Hi All,

I have this player hooked to my Marantz 4001 AVR w/7.1 Analog Connections. Please don't ask me to use the HDMI as it broke .. wink.gif

I was wondering since I use the 7.1 inputs on the receiver what would be the best way set the Speaker levels .. I do not have Test tones on the Receiver for 7.1 channel input.. I have test tones on the player but they go so fast it is utterly useless..

I was thinking I may need to get a Blu ray Test disc. I seen AIX has one is this anygood??

Hy everyone...

As i ran through the web i realized that, correct me if i miss understood, this player have the hardware it needs to put outside proper 3D images. Its fair enough to think that there will be a FW from Samsung (less likely) or a hack to put it working (more likely)?

Thanks for your contribution

The 3600 will not support Blu-ray 3D, nor will it ever. It does not have the hardware specs to support it.

thanks for a prompt reply!

So i have to put it away somewhere. i have bought a samsung F7000 lcd with 3d and i want to take all the juice from it and this player wont help doing that. so im forced to retire it. there is some player you can point me? I dont want to spend a lot of €€ on it like this bd-3600, just a plain and simple 3d player with optical output and thats it.

thanks again!

Tom
