I wanted to post a reply to my thread from yesterday and noticed it's been locked. I'm sure I did nothing wrong. Could some please explain to me what's going on?

My thread was the one talking about not being able to see any difference between BD and DVD.

Your eyes are lying to you. There is a difference. You LOOK, but you do not SEE!

Just kidding with you. I'd guess that there is probably a thread like yours already. I know I've seen some in the past. Try the Search Function.

Yes.. if you can't see the difference between Blu Ray's 6X advantage in resolution, you either have a set up problem, your TV is standard def, your television size is less than 40" or your eyes are lying to you...

The problem is not Blu Ray.

If the thread was the first time the subject came up then it would still be around. However, the topic has been discussed many times in the previous *years* since the first HDM discs came out. Like somebody else said - it's not the format in general. It could be you picked a disc made from a bad/old master. Look in the BD disc Tier sticky thread at the top of the forum and watch a disc or two from Tier 0. If you can't see a difference, it's something on your end.
