Yep, I figured that the laser went. It shouldn't have though. It isn't that old and doesn't have that many hours on it.

Component out I do not use. The lack of Cinavia is a plus though.

That said, I am looking at a Panasonic player that supposedly has NAS support, something that is better than DLNA. I'm trying to get that verified.

I just tried to play my 1st bluray 25gb data disc in the BD-C6500 but it won't play any files - I get the 'not supported file format' error. I know that the BD-C6500 can play these files as they work flawlessly when played via my usb-stick so I must have messed up some burn/filesystem settings.

I used ImgBurn Mode1, ISO9660+Joliet+UDF Revision 1.02 and set allow files exceeding the ISO size limit (4 gb) for multiple extends as there are several large files above 4gb.

Do I have to loose iso and joliet and use udf only with revision set to 2.50? does anyone know the correct settings for a DATA (not a Movie) BluRay filesystem so that the BD-C6500 can play it properly - I don't wanna waste another one.

EDIT: Solved

UDF had to be set to 2.50, as the blu rays are intended only for media playback on the br-player and fairly new pcs I definitely don't need iso or joliet and use udf only. maybe denying imgburn to change the mode from data to divx when adding avi-files also had something to do with it ... idk.

Any more ideas? It will stay closed when OFF now.

Will I find La Scala, or better, to displace my La Scala fronts, before I displace my kg1, kg2 & kg3 with Heresy or better?
