Blu-Ray Player Source Setting With Properly Calibrated TV?
I've got a quick question. I've got a Sony BDP-S770 Blu-Ray Player and just recently noticed it has its own settings (Bright Room, Dark Room, Theater) that affects the picture/brightness similar to what you see on TV's.
Well, assuming already watching in theater/ISF mode on a properly calibrated TV, wouldn't setting the source to theater as well darken things too much? In this case, does Standard mode make the most sense, since the TV is doing the "interpretation"?
