Generally yes and only from the attached USB.
However, I rarely have time to watch a full BD without interruption. BTW - no support for HDD >2TB.
And also I experienced from time to time lost of sound at Skip forward (for DTS MA ) but that can be mostly due to some issues with my receiver.

Thanks, could be a decent media player in view of Cinavia restrictions on other BD player.

Some people also reccomend Pioneer 440 (no restrictions) or 450 (need to have the FW be prior 2.05 - 2.09 is a No Go) due to some nice custom FW. You might have to check in stores this.

Thanks I assume they both play ISO but rely on custom aftermarket FW?

Hi, quick question (sorry for mispelling, english is not my first language and im typing on phone).

Is this player able to decode HD sound (TrueHD,DtsMA) and output PCM through HDMI?

If yes (with BD discs) can it be done with .mkv movies, asking because my rotel rsp 1069 does not support HD sound decoding and this feature is much needed.

Tnx for any help!

Yes, it is decoding DTS MA and Dolby TrueHD to LPCM via HDMI. Yet I didn't try to check if there are any glitches.
