Looks to be a nice player, but other than its 3D capability and dual HDMI outputs, I can't for the life of me figure out how it's different than my BD-SP808...

maybe (just maybe) the upscaler used to be Qdeo K1 and now it's Qdeo K2.

How's the SP808 performs anyway? It's somewhat difficult to find an Onkyo dealer in my area.

Just received the dealer price schedule on this today. Says available in August @ $599 MAP.

stuck between this or the OPPO BDP-93. not sure on which one on getting. I guess the OPPO BDP-93 is the local favorite.

If the price ended up to be identical, I'd take the Nkyo just because it's easier to deal with Onkyo in Canada than Oppo.

The build quality is better than the cheaper oppo plus now the price is down to 399. at J@R music world. id go with the ONKYO because it is a newer design as OPPOS DESIGNS ARE GETTING LONG IN THE TOOTH!
