Why is the mega changer not made anymore? Not one company makes a megachanger anymore. Sony was the last company to make a mega changer and now they are not making them. WHY? I have searched the net and found nothing, nadda, not one concrete answer why? Since many of you on this forum are GODS of everything electronic, I was wondering if anybody can answer my question.

X-Box Live name: OGgamer1974

If you want to be friends on through xbox network, just send me a request through X-Box Live and mention AVS in the request.

Cheers

Between streaming services which have pushed a lot of people away from physical media and little interest in megachangers, they never really found a market.

was about to respond to your post on Sony DB changer thread: was wondering the same thing. Could be:

--lack of demand

--some groups may discourage changers for copy protection or competitive issues

I have a Sony ES BD changer and hope it keeps working properly

Our Sony rep indicated a one time that without Escient buying large quantities of changers for their media servers the demand went way down.
