Recently I bought Sony Blu-ray player. It plays blu-ray discs with no problem, both studio-recorded and myself recorded. The problem is in plying DVD discs, it plays only DVDs from workshop (studio-recorded), if I burn my own video disc via Nero Burning ROM, my Blu-ray player does not recognize it showing message like 'wrong format'. In the same time this discs are playable in any other DVD player I'm able test them on. When I burn them I select option 'Video DVD disc' in Nero Burning ROM, it creates 2 appropriate folders in the root of the disc. What might be reasons for this?

Thank you

What model number is your Sony? There are several Sony threads. Give the model number and I will point you to the correct thread.
