Hey I have the Samsung BDC5500, and Im thinking about buying a harddrive enclosure.

Currently I can play files through a 8gb ntfs usb drive connected to the blu ray player. What I want to do now, is put an old Sata II harddrive in an enclosure that outputs USB 3.0. Would I be able to connect it to the usb port on my blu ray player and succesfully play files, as I would with the USB drive?

Also as of now, is the player cinavia protected?
