Can anyone help????

I'm creating a live theatre performance where we have a live performer in front of a rear projected Blue-Ray film on a 4 meter screen.

I'd like to be able to pause the film in the action, however I need the image to be still without a pause word / icon / emblem coming up on the screen.

Does any body know of a Blue-Ray Player that does this?

Many Thanks

Adam

The video status icon generated by Sony's S590 can be enabled or disabled.
However, usually a "pause" status bar is often provided by software on the disc itself, although not all discs include that feature. If that's what you're seeing, you wouldn't be able to prevent it.

I trust you've gotten permission from the copyright holder to use the video. They usually want significant royalties when a video is used in a commercial setting.

Thanks for that Selden. I'll have a look into the Sony S590.

Haa don't I just know it! We're going to be paying thousands of pounds per week for the rental of a 5 minute movie!
