I've only just purchased my first Blu Ray player. Watched my first BD film and was throughly impressed and very happy. Watched a few episodes of "Arrested Development" on DVD and thought, great! Then, I watched blu rays of two more films, and during each, these nanosecond flashes of what looked like colorbars appeared. This didn't happen until about 10-15 minutes into each if the films, but once it did, it continued every 5 minutes or so. Audio and video still stellar, but these brief flashes are a distraction and I just don't know if it's a defective player, or something else I am overlooking. Any help would be appreciated.

Haven't seen anything like what you are describing with my Sony.

Good luck,
