Please pardon my ignorance (I'm a newbie in the HT arena) regarding this topic but I was curious if there was a big difference between Blu-ray players. I'm currently using my PS3 for Blue-ray/DVD and audio CD playback piped through an Onkyo TX-NR818 receiver which I feel gives good results. Would I see and hear the changes if I were to invest in a more dedicated multi format player?

Here's one of a number of existing threads asking the same question

This came up in the search engine using advance search, title search only and quality as the search word
