Greetings ...

It could be this is a redundant topic; if so, I am of course happy to follow links to other threads if you have them. Please pardon my renewed-newbie-ness. It's been a looong time since I've visited the forum.

I'm in need of a blu-ray player with built-in wifi and a perhaps odd combination of features: (1) streams Netflix with closed captions and Pandora (nice if it also connects to Picasa and YouTube but those are less important to me); (2) HD component cable connectivity (my AV receiver does not support HDMI); (3) smooth DLNA connectivity to a Mac computer (I'd like to listen to music, stored on the computer, on the home theater system in the adjoining room).

It'd also be good if it would make my coffee in the morning, and keep my truck polished biggrin.gif.

Any thoughts??

Many thanks!

If your TV supports HDMI, I would bypass component video and the AVR and get a BD player with analog audio outs. If it doesn't, there is a thread for component players. to run audio to the receiver.

Component thread:

We've also discussed this quite a bit in the Help me Choose thread

Oppo UDP-203 -> Yamaha CX-A5100 -> Sony XBR-75X940C; Mediabridge 6' and 15' HDMI cables.
