I have just purchased an Oppo BDP-95 and have it connected to a Lexicon MC12B HD via the 5.1 analogue outputs! The sound quality from the 5.1 analogue outputs is sounding very "toppy" when I play SACDs and/or Blu-Ray/DVD using the 5.1 analogue outputs. My previous SACD player - Lexicon RT 20 - sounded wonderful in this mode, so I'm confused as to why there is such a huge difference in sound quality with the Oppo. Am I missing a crucial set-up step with the Oppo that I didn't need to do with the Lexicon? I'm hugely disappointed with the sound from the analogue outputs. Any suggestions??
