I have a PS3 and a Samsung BD player. In using both I notice that usually I am getting 1080P/60 displayed on the screen instead of 1080P/24. I have set the two players to auto 24P playback(I think that is what it's called) but it doesn't seem to work. I'm wondering if:
1. All BD are not 24P? I thought they were.
2. The auto 24P doesn't work like I think it does.
3. On one system, the PS3 one, the signal is routed through a Denon 602 VP. On the other it goes through an AVR. Could either of these processors be blocking the 24P?
Any experience and advice would be appreciated. For all these years I wonder if I have been missing out on the best quality possible.
