I don't know quite how to search this out.

I have a Pioneer SC27. Using MCACC and adjusting my speaker manually with a radio shack sound meter, I get them pretty dead on.

But then I throw in the Sound Vision setup disk, run the speaker balance check and expecting it all to be the same, its not. My sound meter reads the left is louder at 75, my right is down to 60, the surrounds barely come in at 40.

But with the AVR, they all show dead on at 75.

I would think the Oppo 83 would be the one I'd actually want to set my balance to since its the source of the sound.

But they should be the same:eek:

What gives, what am I missing.
