When playing FLAC files from a USB flash drive, there is a pause between tracks. Is there a "gapless playback" setting that I'm missing?

Lowbeyond1,
Sure, but whether you will SEE it is another thing. Have you had your display properly calibrated?

The reason to buy the OPPO is for the range of things it does well rather than for just one aspect like picture quality. And of course if you decide to buy an OPPO, getting the D version will be more cost effective for Darbee

Yes, you have to select Gapless each time you start play. In the music files browser, highlight the starting track, then instead of pressing Play, Press Option and select Gapless from the on screen pop up menu.

If you've done it right then "Gapless" will appear above the time line on the music Now Playing screen.

BDP-103D vs Sony S580

I found a nasty deal on an Oppo, for 425 dollars, and the seller is local. I'm wondering, in your experiences how much better will my picture be with the 4k up conversion even though I'm pumping it into a JVC RS4810U, with eshift 2 (same as the x55 for those that don't know)

I understand that this player is a lot better than my Sony, but how much difference am I really going to notice?
