Turn off 4K upscaling on both your BR Player and AVR and let the 8550 do the work. It will do it significantly better. If you are going to test either the 6200 or your AVR's 4k upscaling capability make sure to only have one of them on. I made the mistake of having both the 6200 and my Denon set to upscale and it completely crushed the image. The Sammy, however, will leave any 4K signals it receives unmolested (at least insofar as 4k goes). So yes you can turn off 4k Upscaling on the player.
