Does the Oppo 95 have the SMB/CIFS capability?

I was looking at playback of movies by streaming Bluray Remux AVC(stored in MKV containers of 20-40GB file size) through either the BDP-95 or the BDP-105 through my LAN, the Oppo being wired through the RJ45 Ethernet to my Switch.

Anyone tested/tried streaming the MKV files using both options i.e. via the SMB/CIFS route vs the Twonkymedia server route.

Thanks.

No. The -103/105 series does, but no OPPO player before that has SMB. You might use one of the existing threads to pursue this.

Full bitrate video works with both DLNA and SMB for me, using wired ethernet. Wireless might be a problem.
