Wave 2 UHD players at CES?

Are we expecting to see the wave 2 UHD players at CES? Any rumors, etc? Why are there only 2 to 3 budget choices out now?? They were supposed to be out in force by last xmas .

I said they were el cheapos in my original post. I want a better one from a higher caliber mfgr like Denon or Pioneer Elite or something of that ilk.

I assume you already know that Oppo is releasing a player sometime before the end of this year.

Yeah, that's definitely a nicer one that "looks normal" (classic looks) . Never gotten into Oppo's for some reason. I guess its all the marketing fluff they put into their higher end products that turns me off. Denon and Pioneer Elite don't do that as much. They do up-spec the higher end products, but it comes off different I guess .

I have owned both Denon and Oppo disc players and Pioneer Elite receivers. Denon, in my experience, does not support their players well after purchase. Pioneer is a bit better but still not in Oppo's league for customer support. My Oppo players have all been better built and produced better results than the higher priced Denon player I previously owned. Personally, I would never buy another Denon product because of their poor customer support.
